Jim Richard’s XY GTHO is best known for winning the New Zealand Castrol GTX Championship, a title that he held for two consecutive years in 1972 and 1973.

The XY Falcon was powered by a 351 Cleveland engine and had a top speed of 225kph, making the XY GTHO the fastest four door production car in 1971.

Only 300 XY GTHO’s were ever built, making it one of the rarest cars ever produced by Ford Australia.
