Produced by Ford Australia between September 1973 and July 1976, only 1,950 of these high performance sedans were made.

With a 351 Cleveland V8, the XB could reach 0-100km/h in 8.1 seconds - impressive at the time. It was also the first GT to be fitted with four wheel disc brakes.
