ACME 1965 Chevy El Camino Custom 1/18
Chevrolet introduced the El Camino in 1959, based on a full size Chevy platform. It did it again in 1960, before taking a brief hiatus and resuming production in 1964, this time based on the mid-size Chevelle platform. The rest, as they say, is history, the modest El Camino harnessing a dedicated group of followers who ultimately could order their favourite commercial with almost any engine available, including GM’s hottest big blocks!
While Chevy best offering for the 1965 El Camino was a working class 327, ACME’s adaptation packs a monster 502 big block, an engine that Chevy fans could only dream about 50 years ago. With a stunning black-over-red finish, classic five spoke wheels and detailed interior with a four speed shift, there are few opportunities to own a quality scale model of this classic American utility.
1:18 scale. Limited to 594 pieces worldwide.
